Couple + up to 30 guests

This approach may suit you if you're choosing to have a smaller ceremony with a few relatives and friends, possibly ahead of a much bigger separate occasion where you celebrate with everyone else. I'll develop a ceremony with your input and then marry you on the day!

Couple + any number of guests

You'd like an extra special ceremony that tells your unique story. I'll work with you to develop a personalised ceremony and this includes all meetings, useful resources, a draft ceremony for your review until you're happy with it, and ultimately the ceremony on your big day!

Rehearsal
​
Having a rehearsal is optional, but highly recommended. Ideally, it should take place the day before or as close to the ceremony date as possible and involve your wedding party and other key people. It's a chance to iron out any issues that could arise on the day and also allows people to feel relaxed and confident ensuring your day runs smoothly.

I'm located on the North Shore and if the travel to your venue is 20+ km, there may be additional travel costs.

I ask for a non-refundable deposit of 50% at the time of booking and the final balance needs to be paid a week before your ceremony date.

Your marriage licence will be an additional cost of $150 that you pay on application to BDM (Births, Deaths, Marriages).

I contribute 10% of my service fees to the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand.
How it all works
Gold package
#1 - Let's meet
It’s so important we connect so you can decide whether you feel comfortable with me! So, we'll initially meet online or even better in person over a coffee or wine to discuss your needs and vision and I'll do my best to convince you how I can help you achieve your dream day.
#2 - Plan and write
If you decide I'm the right celebrant for you, I'll provide a helpful resources pack including examples of vows, readings and poems (should you want them), as well as a questionnaire for you to complete to help me write a ceremony that reflects your story.  And then it's over to me to write the masterpiece! Don't worry, you'll have the opportunity to review and refine your story so there won't be any surprises on the day.
#3 - Pre wedding
In the final weeks leading up to your big day we'll meet again (either online or in-person) to talk through the ceremony logistics and set the final game plan. And if you want to, we can also book in a rehearsal at your venue to practice your ceremony and decide where you and your wedding party will enter and stand, etc. so you all feel comfortable.
#4 - Your wedding day
We get you married and you celebrate! I'll help to ensure that everything runs smoothly and arrive at least half an hour before your guests' arrival time. This means I can check that things are set up properly and try to help calm any nerves.
